Writhed by Lewis Carroll, this book starts when Alice, a little English girl, meanwhile she is playing with his little sister, founds a white rabbit with a pocket clock, who truly seem to be very exited and anguished because no possibly reason, (for her a rabbit is certain a tranquil creature who passes his life eating carrots) and she found it quite interesting, so she follow him, entering into a hole who goes down and down, in a snail form stairs. In the end there is a little door, very tiny little door, and among them there are other doors of all the sizes, but she decides to enter in that door with the help of a magic potion, who let her be little. But she forgets the key that is on a now Gigantic table, that opens the door. So she starts to cry a lot, and she makes a pool of tears, where some animals swim.
And when they get out, they get dry And she starts to talk about her cat Dinah, and everybody gets mad when she talks about her cat. Then she see a cake with the letters eat me, and she gets shuttled like a telescope and gets the key, and then she gets into a lovely garden, and she founds the rabbit again, who orders she to get his gloves that are in his house. When she gets there she found a lovely brewage that makes her big and she almost destroy the rabbit's house. Then she gets a tea with the Hatter and other guest that are trapped in the tea time forever because the time is round. After that she gets into a tree with a door to play croquet with the queen of hearts, but there is no ball but flamingos, and she executes everybody. She wants to kill one of his guest because supposedly he eat her cake. And the hatter and a strange cat gets in his deffence. Because she loses she wants to execute the cat, but the cat transforms himself into a floating head. Then she wakes up and tells the story to her sister.
I liked very much the book, because it may be a kids book, but I learned a lot about old Britannia English, I also enjoyed the way she described the things, no matter how strange it was she found it "curious". It was fun because I saw the new movie and I pictured it into my mind. I would recommend it to little kids that are learning English.
